crack sealing
At BPS we specializes in crack sealing to protect and extend the life of pavement surfaces. We use four different types of materials, including high-performance rubber sealants as well as Type ll, Type lll and Type lV materials, to ensure the right product is matched to each project’s specific conditions. This versatility allows us to deliver durable, flexible, and weather-resistant seals that prevent water intrusion and further pavement damage. chip seal
We apply chip seal coatings on both roads and parking lots, creating a durable, skid-resistant surface that enhances traction and protects the pavement underneath. stress absorbing membrane interlayer (sami)
Our team provides Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI) applications for both roads and parking lots, helping to reduce cracking and extend pavement life. This process creates a flexible layer between the existing surface and new overlay, absorbing stress caused by traffic loads and temperature changes. A fog seal is a light, single-layer application of emulsified asphalt applied to an existing pavement surface. This maintenance treatment helps restore aged or oxidized asphalt, enhances surface appearance, seals small cracks and voids, and reduces raveling. Fog seals can also be placed over chip seal surfaces to help secure the aggregate and provide a darker finish, improving visibility of pavement markings and overall roadway safety.
Saw and seal is a pavement preservation method used to minimize reflective cracking in asphalt surfaces. The process involves cutting accurately placed joints above underlying concrete joints or areas prone to base movement, then filling them with a hot-applied rubberized asphalt sealant. This creates a flexible, controlled joint that allows the pavement to move naturally with temperature and load changes, reducing random cracking and protecting the surface from water infiltration.
mastic
Mastic is a hot-applied blend of polymer-modified asphalt binder and aggregates, designed to repair a wide range of large cracks and pavement damage. Mastic delivers a strong, load-supporting, and waterproof fix that remains flexible, helping protect the surrounding pavement from further deterioration Once it cools, Mastic One is immediately ready for traffic, helping reduce downtime and lane closures.
